St. Paul Curling Club was first incorporated in 1885. They went through several incarnations and started curling on Selby Ave in 1912 on natural ice over 100 years ago! (Shout out to my dad who helped me take the photos for this, and inadvertently provided his modeling services here!)
They’ve been a community cornerstone for over an century. Artificial Ice was first used at SPCC in 1939 and gradually the entire club was converted by 1962 to modern man made ice.
SPCC boasts the largest active membership with over 1,100 members participating each year!
SPCC was the first club to host every national championship curling event and continues to host high level competition year in and year out. Current members even include national and international champions!
